What Is EFT

EFT can help heal negative emotions, thereby removing the trigger that was causing the negative emotions long after the initial negative event occurred.

Note: If you have any question that was not answered here, please send me an e-mail, and I will try to answer it. I don’t do consultations by e-mail, so if you have an issue that needs clearing, please schedule an appointment with me or another practitioner.

What are your fees?
My fees for private (in person or phone) sessions are based on a rate of $150/hour.

My sessions include:

  • Limited e-mail and phone support
  • For phone sessions, I will call you (within the Continental U.S.), thus saving you toll charges
  • To encourage your commitment to growth and personal happiness, I offer a discounted, pre-paid package:
    • Five 60-minute sessions for $600, (a savings of $150)

If you are scheduling your first session with me, you can convert it to a five-session package after our first session. If you choose to convert your single session to a package, you must let me know within 7 calendar days of our first session.

My appointment times are valuable and irreplaceable, so I charge for missed appointments or last-minute cancellations. If you need to reschedule a session, please let me know 24 hours in advance to avoid being billed. Cancellations and reschedules that are made less than 24 hours before your appointment will be charged 50% of the full session fee.

What is the best way for me to contact you?
The best way to reach me is by e-mail. If you want to leave a voicemail message at 973-784-3815, I will return your call as soon as I can.

Where are you located?
I am located in Northern New Jersey, about 45 minutes west of New York City. However, I conduct my EFT sessions by phone, so location is not a significant factor in choosing me or any other practitioner. EFT is highly effective by phone, and I urge you to choose an EFT practitioner based on training, experience, and personal rapport.

Do you do sessions by phone?
Yes, I do EFT by phone. Like most accomplished EFT practitioners, I work with the majority of my clients by phone.

How can EFT work by phone?
EFT is highly effective over the phone. I can hear the client’s subtle verbal cues and allow my intuition to guide me. I have tremendous success with phone sessions.
If we decide to work together, I will e-mail you a new client form so you can share pertinent information about you and your issues before our call. The more you share with me on your form, the more efficient our first session will be. You can also download the tapping points from my Free Stuff page ahead of time. During the session, I’ll tell you exactly what to say and where to tap. After a few minutes, you won’t even notice that we are not face-to-face.

When doing a phone session, I will call you (within the Continental U.S.), saving you long distance charges.

How can I schedule a session with you?
If you would like to schedule one or more sessions with me, you can order sessions from my Products and Services page. I will then contact you to schedule your session(s). If you prefer, you can send me an e-mail or call me at 973-784-3815 to schedule a session.

Can you help me find a practitioner near me?
Finding the right practitioner for your needs is very important. Virtually all experienced practitioners do work by phone and get excellent results. Unless you feel very strongly about a face-to-face visit, I highly recommend you search for the best person for your needs, rather than someone who works near you. Finding an accomplished practitioner with whom you resonate is more important than finding someone who is conveniently located.

When you’re searching for a practitioner, invest some time reviewing several practitioners’ websites before calling them. You can discover a lot about a practitioner online. Here are some things to look for:

•    How long s/he she has been in practice?
•    How did s/he learn EFT? (In my opinion, watching the videos and reading the manual is just not enough to learn the art of EFT.)
•    What are his or her EFT credentials? (The EFT- Cert1 is the only official EFT certification currently offered, but you can expect to see additional certification levels soon. EFT Master is the highest credential available, but there are only a handful of Masters in the world, and the Masters program is closed, so don’t limit your search to that criteria.)

Personally, I don’t think credentials such as a MS, LCSW, or PhD after someone’s name are nearly as important with EFT as their expertise in using EFT. After arming yourself with information about several practitioners, let your instincts tell you if you feel right with this person. You should have a rapport or connection with a practitioner for the best results. Trust your gut feeling.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

EFT has produced remarkable clinical results, but it has only been used in its current form since the early 1980s. Thus, it is considered by traditional medicine to be in the experimental stage. EFT clients and users must take complete responsibility for their use of these techniques.
